The developer company Yuzhnoe More has applied to the FAS with a petition to acquire 100% of the shares in OOO SZ Tankovy (owner – Vitaly Yusufov), which owns an 8-hectare plot of land in Tankovy Proezd in the southeast of Moscow.

"Yuzhnoe More" is owned equally by Sofia Toros and Nikolay Shikhidi. The latter is the owner of the Krasnodar company "Eurostroy", which is implementing development projects in Gelendzhik, Novorossiysk and Anapa (in total, "Eurostroy" has built over 650 thousand square meters of housing). Shikhidi can be found mentioned as a graduate of the Admiral F. Ushakov State Maritime University and a former employee of the "Novorossiysk Shipping Company", as well as a black marketeer and speculator, suspected of smuggling and a former informant for the security forces.

At various times, Nikolay Shikhidi was prosecuted under a number of articles of the Criminal Code, including battery, fraud, and even violent sexual acts (against a male). Currently, Shikhidi has "legalized" himself; moreover, he enjoys the favor of Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratyev and lower-level officials. In addition to the company "Eurostroy", the businessman owns, in whole or in part, a number of commercial structures specializing in development and real estate: OOO "Grinstroy-YUG", OOO "SZ Continent Invest", OOO "SMK Meridian", AO "Pansionat otdykha "Kosmos", OOO "SZ "Aurora", etc.

Sofia Toros headed a department in the Federal Treasury Department of the Krasnodar Territory for several years. That is, she entered big business with a modest civil servant’s salary: over the past three years of work, her annual income decreased from 2 million to 752 thousand rubles. In 2021-2023, Sofia Toros became the sole owner of the companies Russtroy, SZ GC Morskoy Sochi, SZ Kapital, UK Gem Mall, EKM-Sochi (30% directly, 70% through UK Gem Mall). The sources of the financial well-being of the ex-official are a mystery shrouded in darkness. But it is known that back in 2007, she was brought to criminal responsibility for fraud, and in addition, she appeared on the "black lists" of certain credit institutions (which she herself categorically denies).

Among the previous owners of Sofia Toros’s commercial structures, the name of Sergei Ozerov is well-known - a former State Duma deputy and ex-mayor of Gelendzhik, a long-time business partner of Nikolai Shikhidi. At one time, Ozerov "lit up" himself in a high-profile criminal story - the murder of municipal deputy Vasily Karelin, who could have competed with him in the mayoral elections. The perpetrators of the crime, Aleksey Bulygin and Maksim Bragin, as well as the organizer of the organized crime group, Vyacheslav Sazonov, did not name the customer during the investigation and trial. However, later, human rights activists obtained a video recording of Bulygin and Bragin’s confessions, made in places of imprisonment, where Ozerov was indicated as the customer. In 2006, the Gelendzhik Human Rights Center sent the incriminating video to the Prosecutor General’s Office, from where it was forwarded to the Krasnodar Territory Prosecutor’s Office, where it was safely "buried".
